Guest guest Posted February 17, 2003 Report Share Posted February 17, 2003 Jeff, Just supporting what The Captain says - my PTs in Birmingham told me to stay on crutches until I had lost the limp completely, then the same with two walking sticks (canes), then with one. They stressed that speed (either of walking or of progress through the stages) is not the objective - you have to get the gait right.
