Were you released from the hospital the same day you received your therapeutic

RAI dose? How were you monitored post RAI dosing, please?

Hi, I'm a and about to head toward bed after the day of the test

dose! WAs definitely weird taking, in my case, the " blue capsule.....2

Mc...test scan tomorrow. For everyone awating this procedure, sure hope

you don't end up waiting around a major medical center all day. Seems

it will be the norm in my case at UC San Francisco/Mt.Zion because the

RAI gets " trucked in. " On Friday, once they " decide on my treatment

dose, " I'll have to wait around after having my 72-hr scan at 8 a.m. A

drag, but nearing the end of the line...

My blood

draw last Friday was TSH 29.6, so they went ahead and dosed me today,

but made me have another blood draw prior for good measure, but I

laughed at them and said, believe me I'm hypo...

I'm planning to camp out my first night after the RAI in a local

hotel, I think, though I tend to run on the slightly neurotic side when

left to too much time alone, so I hope I don't freak out. While driving

across the Golden Gate Bridge for all these doc appts and tonight, after

the test dose (well, my husband drove) my previous terrorist attack

fears from last year waned in light of my RAI fears Am just reading

here and hoping my stomach will hold out
