Guest guest
Hi all. will be in mainstream Kindergarten this fall and they are saying the class size could top 30. YIKES! will be getting his cochlear implant on May 6th so he'll have all summer for therapy and getting used to it and such. (He started losing his hearing at age 2.8 and is now severe-profound in both ears). He'll have an FM System and a fabulous teacher. My question is, can I request a teacher's aid? What about sound stuff? He'll have the tennis balls on the chairs and I'm not sure about carpet. Any other issues I should be sure to address? I have a very willing staff (except for one) who will help me. Thanks! mom to , 5 in April, severe-profound in both, cochlear in May! , 3 in May but getting as much terrible 2's in as possible!
