Guest guest
Roirae--I read that you're a hermaphrodite--must be a very hard and confusing life to have lived without good support or guidance from family or community. But it IS a life and your sexuality has nothing to do with having cancer and whether you should be treated. I hope there is (as there is in our modest-sized town) and community mental health group--you need an advocate to hear/go with you to the Drs. Even if your only insurance is Medicaid, you should be able to get treatment. There are compassionate medical folk out there; I pray you can connect with them. And attitude? well, do your best to play it easy, because the medical folk want to deal with the cancer; you could find/crank up support from the same mental health organization to use the power of your feelings to work for good, not obstruction of medical treatment. As I said, rough, but you can do it. Katy > This is not some sick joke, it is the truth. I was waiting to get my radiology appts, but I instead I get the news that I refused treatment. I am all ready for to buy my bus ticket, and here it is someone tells me. The nurse says that refused treatment, this kind of thing has been going on my life. I was born Intersexed, my child psychologist knew that I would face threats. Because, of my gender status. When I went to the oncologist, I was looking the banner for Suviviors Day. Someone said " He will not be a suvivior. " And look like it will truly. I wanted the surgery, and I would do anything it took to get to that point. Every since they ran The Maphrodites With Attitude and Maphrodites Unit. I have been having very bad luck. They are just making sure die, so they can say good written. > > Roirae _text portions of this message have been removed]
