Guest guest
Carol - when I stood up to play with my pets (notvigorously - just held them and gave them treats) mypulse was 120Now I am nervous - what does that mean? Could it behypothyroid symptom?? Usually and has happen to me I was hyperthyroid while doc was trying to get me on a good dose. a pulse that fast can be another serious problem. Your heart is working hard to pump and is doing it too fast. Hypo makes things move slower, not faster. When I worked at the YMCA for years. When we did a good workout we stopped at different points. Usually half way. If your pulse was 140 or 150 you had to stop because your body, heart was being over worked. You really need to see a doctor and tell him how it gets high so easy. Guest guest
Yeh, 120 is called tachycardia and gets ER people doing things to you fast. My thyroid stuff was found by accident, I was in the ER cuz my pulse was 130 and went up with exertion and breathing rate was high. After one test result, they sent me to cat scan and it was there that my humongous thyroid was found. They weren't looking for that, but it showed up. Hearts not working right is not something to wait on getting checked. jane > > > In a message dated 11/30/2005 2:01:27 PM Eastern Standard Time, > msl5858@y... writes: > > Carol - when I stood up to play with my pets (not > vigorously - just held them and gave them treats) my > pulse was 120 > > Now I am nervous - what does that mean?
