MIA for awhile

I am going to be MIA for the next week or so.

My mom is having surgery (hopefully her last) Monday and I have already

arranged to take some time off to be with her or help my sister with Suzanne so

she

can be with her..whichever works out best. I will keep up or catch up with

all the posts as soon as I can. Yall hang in there and keep on keeping on

This really comes at a good time for me because I was thinking I need to take

a little bit of a breather anyway. I have gotten some reaaaalllllllyyyyyy

ugly email (anonymous of course..no addresses that were familiar to me or that I

could match to specific members) the last few days and while I typically dont

let what other people think bother me its impossible to not be effected when

you're already carrying a heavy personal load and maybe just aren't feeling so

swift.

To give you an idea I have been called everything but a white girl and also

told that I am a fake who probably hasn't lost even one pound. Nice huh? I know

I take things to heart and if I err on the side of talking too much then

thats on me. I am not going to change who I am or how I act to suit people who

cant even say what they think without hiding behind anonymous email addresses

and

dont even have the balls to sign their name. I am who I am like it or lump

it. Personal feelings aside though I really enjoy this group and most of the

people. This should be a place for friendship and support and not a stressfull

chore.

Miki (for those who know her) is currently bouncing and she is also out of

town for the week so dont look to hear from her anytime soon either. If I hadn't

told yall already I got an email from KM recently too and she is doing ok

....just busy and struggling to keep her head above water but she will be back on

track again soon Im sure.

Anyway...cross your fingers for my moms surgery to go well and I will *see*

you guys in a week or so. Take care and take care of each other.
