AmyR,

I am glad to hear that your appt went well, it sounds like you and

baby are doing great. How exciting, only 10 days to the u/s. Do you

want to find out the sex, or are you going to be suprised?

One thing about going so early in the morning, I had my first one at

9 a.m. and the baby was still sleeping, so he would not show us

anything. I recommend getting up early and eating a good breakfast,

with something sweet, like juice, etc, before you go, this way the

baby is active. It worked for us the second time.

Only 10 days - that is going to go buy so fast!

Kim,

Yes, we would like to find out the sex. Thanks for the tips about waking

the baby up! I've noticed you ladies talking about eating a snickers bar

and drinking a caffeinated beverage before the u/s and I was thinking that's

going to be hard for me to do that early in the morning. I think I'll

definately get up a couple hours before the u/s though so I can eat a good

breakfast and hopefully be awake enough to stomach something sweet like a

candy bar before the appt!

That's so cute about Don listening to your belly! I can just picture it!!

:)

I bet before long you will definately feel baby moving around quite a bit

too..and know it is baby! Remember I had that whole list of different

" things " I felt last week, but didn't know if any of it was baby...well here

I am a week later and things have definately changed!! It isn't quite how I

imagined it..maybe that's what makes it harder to tell at first, cause you

have this idea in your head of what it will feel like? I sure hope your

little one starts doing jumping jacks soon!! :)
