Guest guest
Dr.Bonar wanted to do one more casting before she got the heel release. I so dread that heel release which is going to be friday. I started crying waiting this past friday because she was suppose to have it done and i was all scared because Isabella is going thru so much. Removing the casts are so hard and stressful on us. We soak them for 45 min. and they still don't come off. My husband carefully takes wire cutters with the curved end on them so they don't get her skin and cuts them off because we cannot soak them long enough to get those things off her before we have to drive 2 1/2 hours to Dr.Bonar's office. Isabella screams when she moves her legs after the casts are off. Does anyone elses children do this? I guess they are really sore from being frozen in the casts. I cry everytime they manipulate and put her legs in the casts because she screams so badly, it kills me. Then i start blaming myself for her going thru all this. Got a call today and they told us to go and buy a size 1 sneakers with soles on them so they can custom make a DBB in two weeks. Does anyone have the DBB with regular sneakers on them? Are they better? Any information you can give me will help me alot. Thanks for listening.
