Guest guest
I've had a cardiologist for over 5 years who I love. I was referred to him by my PCP back in 1999. When I mention his name to other doctors they all speak highly of him, and I get along with him very well. Recently, I found out that he was named in a malpractice suit along with 3 other doctors back in 1991. I don't know the details of the suit but it was settled and the person was awarded over one million dollars. I have no idea what, if any, his role was in it. However, I am a bit disillusioned about this cardiologist who I've always trusted 100%. I checked his license online and he's never been discipled and he is still employed by the same hospital. Would this discovery about one's cardiologist bother anyone? What would y'all do in this situation. Not worry about it? I'd like to forget about it but I wonder now about my life in his hands. Thanks.
