Hey what do people do when you or your kid cant drink milk. I have

lactos intolerance and i realize i never drink milk or dairy however i

love and miss the taste. Is powdered milk a bit easier to

dogest/handle? I think once I get the odsp stuff i will have the extra

money to buy more expencive milx substitues.

Chantelle,

Simon ('s dad) has lactose intolerance among other things. He drinks

soya milk that comes sweetened with apple juice. I think it tastes soooo

sweet but he seems to like it. Tastes nothing like cows milk but I can see

how he has got used to the taste.

Chantelle,

I use almond milk on my cereal. I do it to make sure I have protein at

breakfast, since I don't tolerate milk well, and my doctor has recommended I

avoid soy products as they can interfere with hormone levels. Compared to

one cup of 2% milk it has 80 calories instead of 120, and has no saturated

fat. It has the same amount of calcium.

Hope this helps.

Chantelle, Carmen cannot drink milk--there is a soy version of

pediasure through Bright Beginnings that is milk and lactose free.

So, I give her that and pretty much any soy milk product. Many of them

are flavored, but others are plain and are pretty good, especially

" Silk " brand soy milk. Good luck, B.
