Guest guest
Dear Erma, The cottage cheese is used for its sulphur content. So any sulphur containing food will work. Highest sulphur content is found in : Eggs, aloe vera, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, wheat grass juice, soybeans, peanuts, brazil nuts, kidney beans In addition, MSM is a great source of sulphur. Why is sulphur so important, and don't some people have impaired sulphur enzymes from heavy metal toxicity? If you have this impairment, what happens inside your body when you eat alot of sulphur foods? Patty

Hi Saul, Any sulphur containing food? I heard somewhere that it had to be a sulfur rich protein. Anyhow, if not can I mix some MSM into my flax oil to make it much better absorbed the same as I could mix it into cottage cheese? Thanks, Sonny

They need to take a molybdenum supplement to be able to handle the sulfur in any form - MSM, wines, etc.
Guest guest
Dear Sonny, Yes, you can mix your flax oil in with your MSM. Works great. Eggs and aloe vera would be the best choices from the list I posted. I got a little carried away and just cut and pasted the whole list of sulphur-rich foods from my book. Best of Health! Guest guest
Thanks for the information, Saul. If I mix the flax oil with the MSM, will the sulfur in the MSM still be available for other processes once it gets into my body like for promoting growth of new skin cells, nails, etc? Thanks again, Sonny > > > Dear Erma, > > > > > > The cottage cheese is used for its sulphur content. > > > So any sulphur containing food will work. > > > > > > Highest sulphur content is found in : > > > Eggs, aloe vera, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, > > > wheat grass juice, soybeans, peanuts, brazil nuts, kidney beans > > > > > > In addition, MSM is a great source of sulphur. > > > > Hi Saul, > > > > Any sulphur containing food? Guest guest
Debb, I have never read anything derogatory about cold-pressed, unrefined flaxseed oil, except that if it is old and rancid it can have the opposite effect and be detrimental to your health. (That may be what you read about.) If fresh (expiration date is on bottle) and kept refrigerated after opening, it is one of the most healthful things you can add to your diet. Paired with a sulphurated protein, like low- fat cottage cheese or plain yogurt, it has even greater benefits, for this allows the EFA's to get into the cells more readily for repair. Regarding your questions about information on Moducare, if you will look back over the last several days, there are many posts that will be helpful to you. bg
