Guest guest
Lynn, It looks like feeding 100ml/hr works for Abbie. I imagine that keeping Abbie on a continuous feed during the day is not ideal for her. Besides doing a continuous feed during the day, the only other suggestions I would have is to try more frequent feedings or spread the feedings out to a longer time such as over 2-2.5 hours. You may want to try a continuous feed all day and see if it makes a difference in her seizure control. If it makes a significant difference then you could fine tune to how often you need to feed or how long you have to do a feed to get the good control. Rhonda (mom to Shan, age 9, ketokid 2 years) -----Original Message----- I am trying to get Abbies ketones consistant. At the moment her ketones are up and down all day.Any advise on how to spread these feeds out.At the moment Abbie has a feed at 7am,12midday,5pm.these are pumped over around 1.5 hours. She then has an over night feed of 425mls pumped at 100mls hour. seizure control is good at night but all over the place during the day. Thanks Lynn and Abbie.
