Oh Barb! I'm so sorry to hear that! I think Joya has a problem with

something similar to that also... :o(( See how our good old low fat diets

are catching up with us? We are so unhealthy, such a shame. Hopefully your

prescription will help ya, huh???

I'll always blame certain disease on high carb because I hate the fact that we have been lied to by certain governmental agencies for THEIR benefit, while the lies have made us so sick and SO fat.

My motto is, "DEFEND TO THE END." Most of you know that, eh? *LOL*

Yes maam, Shell. I will definitely get it done. There's no breast cancer in my family but because I have the cysts in my breasts, my doctor wants me to get a mammogram every year. I'll call tomorrow for an appointment.

I won't fuss at you a whole lot because I realize I procrastinated even when my doctors thought we might actually have a problem, but I will suffice it to say...GET YOUR BUTT TO THE DOCTOR AND HAVE YOUR MAMMOGRAM DONE, YOUNG LADY!!!Both my maternal and paternal grandmothers have dealt with breast cancer. And, they both won their initial fight because of early detection. My maternal grandmother is now considered terminal. But, it is not the breast cancer this time. She has lymphodema and the cancer is now in her bones as well. But, early detection gave her 20 years she might not have had otherwise. She says it allowed her to raise us, my brother and I. And, if she had not found out about the breast cancer early, she might not have gotten to do that. So, Shell's lecture for the day:ALL YOU GALS BETTER GO HAVE YOUR MAMMIES DONE!!!Shell>^..^<

Unfortunately, I am hearing of more and more young women with breast

cancer. It makes me wonder if there is something in the environment

causing it since this was so rare in a young person not too many years

ago. This is the link for the young breast cancer patients and

survivors:

Being so young, your chances of beating it are much greater than those

of us in our senior years who have other health problems as well. Good

luck to you. Lorraine

I think there are a lot of environmental issues that contribute to the all the different cancers that people are getting. BC seems to be epidemic to me. Plastics, air pollution, chemicals in processed foods, pesticides sprayed on foods and in homes, artificial foods and sweeteners, not eating healthy diets of lots of fruits and vegetables, eating too much meat, especially red meat and lots of fat. I could go on for pages probably.

Barb, it is scary, for all of us. I hope your diagnosis is very early stage and they can treat it easily. Keep us posted and many hugs. Keep strong, there are many long term survivors.
