Guest guest
Hi Dianne. I'm doing well. I gave up my protein bars. They were making me gain weight. I decided to try and eat more real foods instead of the protein bar. I cooked my lunches and breakfasts for the week on Saturday afternoon. I made chicken browned in soy sauce, fresh ginger, cilantra and chili garlic sauce. I also made a couple of steaks and some pork chops. I made a chicken stock that I plan on finishing tonight as Vietnamese pork meatball soup. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I'm not sure of the carb count. Does anyone know if the carrots and onions used in making stock are counted in the totals even when they are removed and not eaten? I'm just learning how to cook so everthing is an adventure! I'm trying to get back on the exercise wagon. I bought another one of Joyce Vedral's books on Friday -- Weight Training Made Easy. I already have the Bottoms Up book. The WTME is a nice change of pace. I'm going to get another set of dumbbells and bring them to work with the new book. I hope to get more workouts in by doing some of them at work. I get to work early and leave late when I drive in to avoid some of the traffic. I'm planning to do StairMaster tonight. Thanks for asking. I hope your day is going well. Guest guest
Dianne: Be careful with your jogging if you hurt your leg. Unless you are talking about sore muscles. Did you stretch before your jog? You are doing great with the exercise! Keep up the good work! Warmly, dianne lambart wrote: regarding>>>Feeling good tonight after a lousy day WOW a -- No wonder you are feeling good !You are treating yourself GOOD.....Nice menu and the exercise is great !I did a little jogging yesterday during my walk andmy legs hurt today - but I managed 4 miles in underan hour, so I feel like I am getting back on track. If only the weather would stay nice.Di Please visit our homepage at http://members.xoom.com/AChallengers You will find information, recipes, before and after pictures.
