Guest guest
One of the universities of Colorado has revised the protocol for dog vaccinations due to the fact that vets have been seeing an increase in auto-immune diseases. Instead of routinely revaccinating, titres are drawn to check the level of immunity. Vaccines are given individually instead of several at the same time. I had: whooping cough; measles; german measles; chicken pox; mumps. Possibly polio, rheumatic fever. The only immunizations I received were smallpox x 2, and polio. I remember very well the polio epidemic. A young girl on our street had polio. She spent months in the hospital, and was crippled. I was unable to go to Boston to my uncle 's funeral. The mayor of Boston was stricken. It was quite frightening. One of my relatives had a deaf child because she caught german measles during her first trimester of pregnancy.
