That's kind of my philosophy, Terri. YS may not be a " recovering fat girl "

but I am. I have proven in the past, that I cannot truly handle food on my

own. If I have to journal every single day for the rest of my life, huzzah!

What a tiny little price to pay for making sure that I'm eating a well

balanced diet.

I know that even now, almost two years on program, I can easily be out

during the day and come home, journal...then wake up in the middle of the

night and think " Oh darn, I didn't journal such and so. " (I do that a lot.

Wake up, have a random thought, go back to sleep.) That tells me that I'm

not ready for even a meal off, much less a day.

But we all have to do what works for us. With the statistics that we see,

anywhere from 85-95% of people gaining some or all of their weight back, I

am assuming that for most of us to remain in good health we'll have to keep

practicing these habits. If someone can naturally do it without journaling,

I think that's really nice for them. Somehow they've been able to get a

handle on it. But it's important that the rest of us do what WE need to do

to stay on program.

Is it really that bad journaling every day? Honestly?
