Guest guest
Hi Dawn! Welcome! > received those results last week - she told me that I have 2 > cervices and that the uterine cavity separates into " 2 horns " - is > that Bicornuate? It depends...is it 2 completely separated uteri or do they share a common wall? I would definately push for more testing. It can be a factor in pg. care - some MAs need a little more " tlc " than others and have different risk factors. Using the info you have right now, there are some pictures on the home page that may help give you a visual. I am UD (uterus didelphys - 1 vag., 2 cervices, 2 separate uteri). My uteri are right by each hip bone - really " far " apart. > unwilling to do a laparoscopy unless I've been TTC for more than 6 > months. Grrr...is this Tricare? My dh (hubby) was in the military for years and they drove me nuts! Fortunately, we have different ins. now, but I never dealt with them & infertility. Have you been ttc (trying to conceive)? Most drs will not " help " until you've tried for awhile. If you are UD, we generally have good stats for getting pg. (I've been pg 2x - both m/c (miscarriages) were chromosomal, not MA). Feel free to email me if you have questions! Hope that helps, C. 28, UD
Guest guest
My daughter's insurance refused to pay for her SU resection until her dr. wrote it in a way that states it was a birth defect. She had her surgery and the insurance paid for everything related to the SU. >> I know everyone's insurance is different. >> Mine has the blanket statemtent in the " rule book " >> that any issues related to fertility are not covered, >> but I know there are ways to get around that, right??? >> Just wanted to hear some stories!! Thank you! >> , UD
