Guest guest
I was free from afib for about ten years! I had two episodes about ten years ago, then nothing until 5 months ago, None since and believe me im praying that another ten years go by. During that ten year period I did not modify my diet or lifestyle at all, until I found this board I did not know very much about afib except what I was told by my cardio which was not much. As of now, I did change a couple of things, I do take vitamins and I drink V8 daily, and I did stop my occasional drinks, don't know if it helps but it can't hurt. Kathy in CT. This is happening to me. I was fib free for almost 5 months and then, all of a sudden they started to come, at first it was two weeks apart, then a few days, then this week it was 2 days apart, lasting 8 hours or so. The pulse remains slow and good but the irregular beat drives me crazy! I AM on coumadin! It has been a stressful month, but to keep in peace and calm is difficult when one is anticipating an attack at any moment! MandyofCA I have very few problems during the summer. My frequent episodes start around Thanksgiving and end sometime in March. I think it is wintertime stress and that I also get much more aerobic exercise in the summer. Who knows? Guest guest
> i heard Dr. Natale from Cleveland clinic practices in Marin general hospital in San . I have called there & left several messages to get an appointment, but nobody has called me back yet. I assume Marin general hospital is in Marin, which is a significant distance away from San . Perhaps you are not calling the right place.
