Hi everyone,

I will probably get a thorough thrashing for this, BUT, I have to

ask.

When I was young, my Mom had a huge garden and she canned/froze

everything for our family, as well as making all her own bakery

every other Saturday morning.

My question is: When it is only two of you, does it really pay to

can/freeze stuff? I find with only my DH and myself, it is very

inexpensive to just buy the products needed for recipies and the

fact that the labels are there, it is easier to calculate the

points. Please don't throw any " canned " tomatoes at me for saying

this.
