Guest guest Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 Hi, I have a question for a mom here in town who has a 3-year-old daughter with an implant. She's taking skating lessons, and is wearing an approved hockey helmet, but is having a hard time with it. Her father has cut away some of the protective foam, to keep it from rubbing against her CI, and even put a bathing cap on her head first, to keep her CI in place, but the little girl still balks at putting on the helmet. Any ideas? Does anyone know if the helmet is causing interference with her CI? Or have ideas about how to wear the helmet AND the CI? Any suggestions are appreciated!
