Guest guest
Hello, Bless you for caring so for your friend. Healing relationships are the beginning of life! Here are two books I read when I was diagnosed with Stage III Colorectal Cancer. There are many out-there, but these two are helpful: " What to Eat if You Have Cancer " , by Maureen Keane, M.S., and la Chace, M.S. (easier to use than the next one)Also, " Beating Cancer with Nutrition " by Patriack Qullion, PHD,RD,CNS and Noreen Quillin (it comes with an audio CD, but I've never used it) I underwent Chemo and Radiation, my surgery was a total procto- colectomy, i.e. a permanent Ileostomy. I was 54 when it happened, I am now 56 and still NED or in remission. My prayers to you and your special friend. God has a way of teaching us all. My lessons keep coming on a daily basis. Miracles result when loving caring souls start healing each other. As my wonderful accupuncturist Dr. Woo says: " When you give CHI, you get CHI! " When you help others, you just naturally benefit too! Dr.
