Guest guest Posted September 26, 2003 Report Share Posted September 26, 2003 Hi Tory, I don't usually like to respond to " off topic " posts, but just wanted to wish you well and say that I really hope your negotiations are settled soon. I feel really sorry for the kids, as well. My sister is a teacher, my brother-in-law is a teacher, my sister-in law is a teacher and my daughter is a teacher, so I am very familiar with the " problems " they go thru. I know many people criticize teachers for " not having to work very hard " and " having all that time off in summer and winter and spring breaks " , blah, blah, blah. But I know how much extra time my sister and my daughter put in, working in their classrooms extra hours all the time, etc. Anyway, maybe the only good things coming out of this is all the exercise you get walking.
