HI,

Well I must say I am totally surprised that we are getting the blame here

anyway............... Last night after reading the list I had to have a

chuckle to my son that had returned and immediately set about

engaging Geoffrey over information he was writing about

THR's................ she is apparently having similiar problems with his

'opinions' as the rest of us.............. One certainly couldn't claim

that interchange was about some imagined war over Resurfacing v Total Hip

Replacement organised by some other list...........And I get very puzzled

about why attempting to point out another 'opinion' about aspects of either

Resurfacing or THR is considered setting up an attack.........

I was feeling somewhat sorry for Geoffrey ........... still having vague

memories of pain filled days of impatient waiting preop........ But as you

say it is hard not to get the feeling that he was enjoying all the attention

and possibly it is a better diversion for pain preop than taking a handful

of painkillers........ Perhaps someone should fly him in some of that funny

stuff from Amsterdam mentioned recently..........
