Guest guest
Hi , I have never heard of Cytotec for use before a septum resection, but I was given it after one of my m/c's instead of having a D & C. I inserted 2 vaginally and took a tylenol and codeine, and about 2 hours later I had SEVERE cramping and diarrhea and vomitting. Couldn't keep down any more pain medication, and I was in alot of pain for about 4 hours while I expelled everything from my uterus. It was a difficult experience for me, I opted for a D & C for my next m/c. I don't want to scare you, but be prepared for some serious cramps. Everyone reacts differently, so it might not be bad for you. Good luck with your surgery. I live in Canada so maybe we do things differently here I don't know. Apparently it will make the cervic mushy, but can also cause severe cramps. I have to insert two pills vaginally the night before surgery...wow that's tomorrow night!!! > > Thanks for any advice/help...you ladies are so wonderful! Guest guest
Thanks Ronna, I took the 2 pills vaginally last night before I went to bed and I seem to be Ok this morning. Slight cramps that aren't too bad, but I'm so gassy!!!! Thanks for the wishes! Guest guest
Hi , I'm glad the cytotec wasn't bad for you. Maybe I had a bad reaction because I was pg (missed m/c) at the time? Good luck with everything! Ronna 4 m/c su resected 17w1d > Thanks Ronna, > I took the 2 pills vaginally last night before I went to bed and I seem to be Ok this morning.
