Guest guest
Greetings from Toronto, I don't think most people know much about me since I tend to be one of the 'lurkers'. I've had RA for 24 years, and have been on the AP (minocycline and some oral clindamycin) for over 3 years. Help! I've been flaring like crazy for the last month, and periodically for the last few months. I guess I'm looking for suggestions as to what to do next to make sure I get the most out of this treatment. I know my doctor will try to talk me into taking Remicade when I see him tomorrow night, and I really don't want to go that route yet if I don't have to. I've never been tested for mycoplasma, so I wonder if getting in touch with the Rocky Mountain lab is in order. I also recall Ray having suggested to someone that they get in touch with Dr. Linder. Are there particular tests I should be asking for? Can they be done in Canada? I've been very good about my diet, supplements and exercise. (Okay Geoff, I'll try the faux-Spes!) Generally I've felt quite well with a few bumps but also with some amazing times in between. It's just been the past few months that have been troubling me. I welcome all suggestions! Best of health to all, Chrys
Guest guest
Are you chelating? its' really a matter of what issues you think are the most important or likely causing the most problems. You can do a parasite cleanse if you wish. People should do this on themselves, their kids, and their pets once a year anyway. Then maybe antiviral protocol. It's up to you though... > > Ok, finally swallowing pills and capsules so on our way to start chelation. I push so much on him now and getting pills down him has been to upsetting but finally there! > > So.....what's my next step. I'd like to do a parasite protocol or should I treat viruses. My guy looks " pretty " normal these days to most, on Brainchild, Houston Enzymes, probiotics and a yeast protocol. But doesn't fall asleep easy, mind is very busy thinking, but sleeps the best ever. He also just tested and we treated for strep in January. I've always wondered pandas and think I'd like to do a virus protocol. He tested positive like 7 years ago too for strep and he wasn't sick, the baby was so they thought they'd test him and he was positive. " They " always thought maybe he was a carrier. Anyway....he looks pretty much a little ADD with poor fine/gross motor skills. Bright kid, well behaved at school and is so much better at home. I'm feeling so better about his place in life right now. He's in 3rd grade, 9.2, diagnosed PPD-NOS. > > Thanks > > Tammy > > >
Guest guest
> So.....what's my next step. I'd like to do a parasite protocol or should I treat viruses. I never had to treat for parasites, but from what I have read, it is a relatively quick procedure for most people. Elimination of viruses took several years here. So you might start with the parasites, then do the viruses. >>also just tested and we treated for strep in January. I've always wondered pandas and think I'd like to do a virus protocol. PANDAS is a strep syndrome, and strep is a bacteria. I eliminated strep here with OLE, which is anti-bacterial and anti-viral. Dana
