Trudy, I agree with S.

Most of the literature supporting one " form " or another is written by

people trying to sell you their particular form. Magnesium oxide is

cheap, and available. 250mg once per day virtually stopped my

ectopics --- so I don't really care how much was " absorbed " , it

worked for me.

H, in Charlotte

59M, flecainide 150mg x 2, aspirin 325mg

Hello and : Just a word of caution for some 42 million

Americans that may have an undiagnosed iron metabolism disorder,

anything with citrate in it or man made ascorbic acid...can enhance

the storage of iron in the major organs...so it is not a good idea

to take it unless you know your hemoglobin, hematocrit, transferrin

saturation % and ferritin level.

Ferritin levels that are just above 50 indicate that iron is

beginning to be stored and may increase the chances of having any of

the five major diseases such as cirrhosis, diabetes, heart disease,

(arrhythmia), cancer and alzheimer's. A large percentage of

diabetics have been found to have elevated ferritin levels.
