With her increased loss, we're almost out of range on her current ones, and the feedback manager isn't very good on her current set - we're having more and more squealing. The audi is recommending Phonak Supero 413 dAZ hearing aids. We've only had 1 set so far - Oticon digifocus IIs so I was wondering about the experience others have had with Phonak and these specific hearing aids. Unfortunately, since is only 4 I don't think she can test several aids and pick which one works best for her. Guest guest Posted April 2, 2004 Report Share Posted April 2, 2004 Hi Cheryl - Sam did his hearing aid trial when he was 7 or 8 so that's a little older. But he was quite clear in his dislike of the Siemans digital aid - he HATED it. I tried to get him to wear it for just a little bit to walk upstairs at the clinic to say hi to Uncle Steve and he wouldn't do it. On the other hand, practically the minute she put his Superos on him, he loved them. He even asked us if he could wear them home! So I think even though your daughter might not be able to verbalize what exactly she likes or doesn't like, I think you'll probably get a good idea. Maybe talking with her beforehand about what's going to happen would help? Let us know how you make out! Barbara --- You wrote: Thanks for the response.
