RE: does resection mean IVF?

NO!!! A resection does have anything to do with IVF. A septum does not

affect your fertility. It may be the cause of early m/c but you will be able

to get pregnant without fertility measures unless you have something wrong

with you that is unrelated to you MA. -Liz

I had a resection (not for septum, but for scarring) and have no plans to go

through IVF. We have to do IUI, though, for a combination of his & her issues.

This is also the plan my RE has and she has never suggested IVF to us.
