Dear Amy if you have any say with your dad dont let them put him on a low fat diet at the drs or he WILL get diabetis.. try to talk to him about LC dont use the word atkins if it scares him now is the time you can step in and help him tell him he has to cut out junk food sugar and trans fats ( ie french fries, donuts ) if he lets the Drs tell him how to eat he will only get worse. unless of course he has an enlightened DR :)

On my way home from class last night, got a call that my dad was in ER with chest pains. Thank God it doesn't seem to have been a heart attack, and

Thank GOODNESS your dad is okay. How scary but you still remained on plan! Awesome!
