Guest guest
Sherie, I'm so sorry your not feeling good. I know the feeling as well. But when it gets to the point where you feel suicidal then yes, talk about it. But also you may need to get more professional help. I know it's not adviseable to take an antidepressant but if you need it right now then do it. It wouldn't be forever. I just think when you get to that point, you need to get help. I am here for you. Guest guest
Hi Sherie, My name is . I don't have alot answers for you as I am new to this forum/reverse T3 thing. However, I am NOT new to hypothyroidism. I was officially diagnosed about 10 years ago, but in retrospect, have been symptomatic since I was around 10 or 11. I am currently 35 years old. Your post touched my heart and concerned me. I know ALL TOO WELL where you are at and want you to know that we are all here for you. It sounds like you need to talk and express more than what can be " concisely " done here. PLEASE feel free to e-mail me directly. Maybe we could help eachother? I too know what it is like to be a prisoner of this condition/symptoms. Please do not give up and know that there is answer for EVERYONE. Some of us just need to do much more investigating. I know this is frustrating, but we will get there. Guest guest
Sherie I suspect it was th eHC lowering your Testosterone thta caused the hairloss onthe body and that is why it is back now, that alot more than high SHBG. Myabe you simply need to take testosterone wiht T3? That combo is workign VERY well for me. I do nto know why some of us cannot go back to natuiral thyroid btu the fact is many of us do not KNOW the cause of you r highRT3 and I am one of them. Though I do nto feel perfect I feel a far cry better than I did on natural thyroid so I am sticking it out on T3 only. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Hi Val.when the hair loss on my legs started I had been off the HC for a few weeks to a month I think. My doctor thinks my test labs are good for some reason,I dont think he would give me test if I asked . The big reason I did not like taking all T3 was it made my periods strange, they got lighter and my cycles are already on the light side to begin with,I also had less ovulation signs being on all T3. I think it messed with my cycles by making my SHBG so darn high,- on july 29,09 SHBG 164 20-130 And the body hair not growing normal bugged me too. and my heart would act up at times on just T3. im also worried about muscle wasting on being on all T3, I saw posts on that topic months ago. If the T3 did not mess with my cycles and the body hair I would have no hesitation going back on it. It seems my RT3 is at 8 again, how does that happen?, it was about 8 point something last time too. I know to get rid of the RT3 we need just T3, but would it be ok to be on say a grain or grain and a half of NTH and the rest T3? I want to get the hair loss to stop AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and the RT3 to go down , but I dont want my cycles messed with ,heart symptoms or body hair problems. Im sitting here on the fence, I dont know what to do. I did not think the RT3 had come back because I just had hair loss and some depression as symptoms and the depression I have only had about a week from all the worry about what could be going on with all of this. The brain fog has not been bad at all, but I might be a bit more fearful and anxious. I sometimes think the RT3 problem may be related to my diet, perhaps im not eating enough, or getting enough protein. Im sorry this is so long, sherie > > Sherie I suspect it was th eHC lowering your Testosterone thta caused > the hairloss onthe body and that is why it is back now, that alot more > than high SHBG. Guest guest
Hi Nick. I was pretty much the same when I was on all T3, I am a worrier , always have been. Im always anxious and over thinking everything. Guest guest
I htink you could try tkaeignT3 wiht a small amount of natural. See how it goes. We are still learnign abotu all this so some of us MAY be able to use a combo and be fine, I knwo I can;t even 1 grian of matuiral brings my RT3 back way too much but that is mne, and your body may be differnt. I also take BOTH estrogen and testosteroe so that may be why I feel better on just T3 wiht none of the low androgen symtoms you are having. The muscle wastign effects of T3 ARE from high SHBG binding the sex hormones. This si why I think any of us on this long term MUST have great adrenal funtion to continue the high production of sex hormones needed to counter this. And if our adrenals are nto up to that task, supplementing them exogenously is the next best answer. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/

Guest guest
Have you heard of people the have a rT3 problem that are taking a combo of the two, and that its working for them? With taking a combination of NTH and T3 I would like to have all hypo symptoms to stop or at least get better, the hair loss, brain fog , fatigue, and the rest of the 1001 symptoms. If I could just get the hair loss to stop and it to start growing again , have my cycles as well as the body hair growth be normal for me , while on a T3 and NTH combo would be wonderful. Im on 2 1/2 grains NTH and 6.25mcgs T3 right now, what do I go up to on the T3 and what do I lower to on the NTH? Do you have any suggestions how to do this, the ratio of the natural to the amount of T3? sorry for all the questions. Thank you Val, you and the mods on both the groups are a blessing! sherie > > I htink you could try tkaeignT3 wiht a small amount of natural. See how > it goes. Guest guest
I would be guessing but as a staring ppoint I would tyr no more than 1 grain Natural and juast use the T3 ot build to unhypo levels. I owuld start by adding 12.5mcgT3 and dropping 1 grain thenin a couple weeks ( or less oif you feel MORE hypo) add in another 12.5mcg T3. Then wait a couple weks and drop to the 1 grains and add in 12.5mcg T3 thne see where you arein about 4 weeks wiht some labs, including RT3. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
