Hi,my name is Michele and I been suffering from arrythimas since I

was a young child. I could not run or play like other kids becuase my

heart would start beating out of control. As I became older and after

having kids I would get where my heart would just start fluttering

and then beat so fast. I went to many drs had all types of test done.

Nothing was caught except PVS or PACs. Back in Feb I had a really bad

attack that lasted about 1 hour. I was able to get the heart to slow

down about 104 beats by barring down. After that I was sent to get a

stress echo and have event montor worn. My echo came back great! I

have no problems with the structure of my heart. They did catch a

short episdoe of what I have been telling the Drs for years on the

event monitor. It was a short run of AF. The past week I have been

having soooo many skipped beats. I could not sleep for two nights. It

is just so scary!!!!!!!!! The Drs wanted to try Inderal the

betablocker. Part of the problem is I am trying to wean my son which

is not working very well LOL. The other problem I have is that I am

very sensitve to meds. My blood pressure is on the low side to

start. I know it will make it lower. I just don't want all the side

effects from this stuff. I feel there has to be another way than to

be on this stuff. I am so happy that I found all of you. It was very

lonely going throught this by myself. Thanks for reading.

Michele

> Hi, Michele,

Now that I've had a chance to think further, my main impression is

that you need to find a better cardiologist. One who will really

find out what is going on and work with you to fix it. It is

dreadful that you have had this problem since childhood without it

being fixed.
