Lem

That worries me about going down 1mg a

week. Since I got down to 5mg my dr is

taking me down 1mg every 2 months.

Be careful and if it doesn't feel right let

the dr k`now imediately.

Ah,you all went without me..........we need

to do it again before gets too cold.

Hi Teddi... I have a question for you. When you had your mastectomy, did you experience lymphedema after? That's where the lymph fluid makes the arm and hand swell. I'm on antibiotics for it but they aren't working 100% yet. It's very uncomfortable...throbs a little andI don't have full use of my right hand, which is very bad for me and my work. Just wondered how common this is. Thanks, Annette

Hi, Lem. Well, maybe it's best to give this stupid Rheumy a 2nd chance.

Maybe he was having an off day or something. However, I feel if you're still

unhappy with him after this next appt. (on my b-day, I might add), then

definately don't go back, regardless of what your GP says. It's your health

that's on the line. Thanks for the wishes for my trip to Montreal. I

appreciate any and all prayers.

God bless you both,

Dawn

Hi Annette

When i had my masectomy they didn't take

the lymph nodes and I didn't have the arm

& hand swelling. I do have swelling in the

fleshy part in`my armpit and still after over

6 years have some numbness in the chest

area. It is finally going away somewhat.

I didn't have chemo or radiation.

Thanks, Teddi. I have the numbness too, but it really doesn't bother me. Makes it hard to shave under that arm, though...I just don't do it as often as I used to. Annette
