I saw an article a few days ago re garding Pregnisalone.. I thought I replied to it but it appears not!!!. The artical read that A vet can make a dead cat jump up with pregisalone. This rung alarm bells as this is a very dangerous drug especially for heart patients.. This is a steroid drug and give the feeling of wellbeing and can eliminate inflammation...I was on this medication for about 6 months while in chronic Afib, for a Thyroid problem I was having at that time.. It was great, I could run around with my friends kids, I had plenty of energy and did not need hardly any sleep. My dosage was 30mg per day.. My Ep went mad when he found out and I suppose that sort of put paid to my Thyroid and a decision to remove it was taken.. WHY!!. Steroids have a tenancy to withhold fluid. Not good for a AF patient. It can dame the heart muscle. It can raise your blood pressure. Mood changing. All I can say is that my Ep was viably annoyed when I told him how long I had been taking them.
