Looking forward to beginning Graduate school this fall - I was planning on

compiling a list and creating a handbook for families in my area that would

provide all relevant information they would need to make informed decisions

and obtain appropriate services. Why not start gathering resources now?

I am looking for input for good resources for families, especially ones you

found helpful at the very beginning. It could be:

books

websites

articles

government agencies

non-profit agencies

financial resources (private and public)

hearing aid funding resources

advocates

etc etc...

I could also compile a list with volunteers in each state that are willing

to work with new/existing members. Post your name, email address, phone #,

and what state you are in.

If the members of the list are willing to share these things, that would be

great. They can just be posted to the listserv so everyone can see them. I

will organize and compile them and share it with anyone interested. I could

also email new members the document that contains the info, then they could

ask specific questions about resources they may be intersted in.

Colin
