Guest guest
Hello Friends, decided to swallow a lite brite peg this weekend so we decided to visit CHOP ER. While we were there, they did not locate the peg but they did find a left aortic arch aberrant right subclavian artery. I have read a little about it and noticed it can cause swallow dysfunction. ER doc also asked why this hasn't been checked before with her swallow history. Hmmmmm I wonder if it is contributing to our stand still with Miss E.?! Does this sound familiar to anyone? We were encourged to make an appointment with cardiology...one of the few specialists we DON'T see. Waiting for scheduling to call back so I thought I'd ask for your experiences. Any input on this one?? Thanks!! Colleen PA, mom to ,8, CHARGE and Sam, 4.
