Kat, some time in the past month or two, a patient of Dr. Natale's posted a fairly detailed description of their visit. Apparently Dr. Natale is not only very good technically, but is a nice guy. Guest guest
A friend of mine had a Natale ablation in early May. He went back into AF a few weeks later, although he still feels better (he had been in permanent, chronic AF, age early 60's). He is scheduled for a cardioversion at his home area, and the Natale team, which has been monitoring his ECG at a distance, thinks that will do the trick. We're all hoping. I add this note of caution to this wonderful story just to remind folks that things don't always go perfectly smoothly, even at Cleveland. His appreciation for the Cleveland staff was great, although he did note that Natale himself spent almost no time with him at all either before or after the ablation, just the staff doctors and nurses. I'm listening carefully to all ablation stories, because I'm a chronic AF'er who's doing well, but who would like to be doing even better.
