Hi Jeanette

Good to hear from you. I have no info about braces but am happy

that Leah is almost sz-free apart from that. Is she being treated by

the naturopath for epilepsy? I think she came off the diet a few months

if not an year ago- right?

Rohan was asking for braces ( his teeth are slightly protruding, but

not that much to warrent braces, in my opinion. I think he wants to

be like a couple of his friends!) Now, I'm definitely not for trying them.

He's going in for tests for VNS next month.

How is Leah doing in secondary school?

Hi Saro...yes we are still around...like you one of the long termers! how

we wish it were otherwise eh?

Yes Leah has been off the kgd since May last year...now on the Specific carb

diet and being treated by a naturopath. Leah is being trted for heavy metal

toxicity...was, as i said nearly sz free when the braces, presumably, mucked

things up. I have not heard of braces affecting sz's in any other cases but

have heard of some affects on concentration, emotional wellbeing and

digestive problems. The latter is how they have affected Leah.

So yes if Rohan does not really need them i would steer away froom them.

Rohan is off the diet right? and you are still lookin for something to help

with sz control. I hope and pray that the VNS may be the help he needs!

Leah is doin well at school....this year has adjusted well with the

transtion from primary to high school and that all goes with that.

Academically she is on par with her peers except in maths, but i think we

can blame her inherited weakness in that area from her Mum!

cheers, take care,Jeanette
