I found a new study (July 7, 2004) on PubMed today that seems to say

that for fibbers with high blood pressure get better results (more

reduction in fib episodes)when their blood pressure is treated with

ACE inhibitors than with calcium channel blockers. Here is a tiny URL

I was taking just Tiazac and digoxin for afib and kept having

breakthrough attacks. About six months ago the cardio added 25 mg of

Toprol XL twice a day and I've been virtually afib free since.

Hi ,

I was on quinapril (an Ace inhibitor) for high blood pressure and I

ended up in hospital for nearly three weeks with AFIB. I may be the

exception, but if I got a better result re AFIB being on an ACE

Inhibitor - I can't even imagine what being on a Calcium Channel

blocker would have been like.

Before I sent it to the list I had tested it and it

worked; now, after reading your message, I tested it

again and it didn't work anymore (I am talking about

this " j_am_college_v44_1_p159.pdf " file, not the folder

" Restoring and maintaining NSR " to which the tinyurl

points - that always opens).

This is the third time that this file some time after

it was uploaded could not be found. I uploaded it again

and it works; let's hope it stays this way.

Here is the URL of the folder " Restoring and maintaining

NSR " containing this file:
