Guest guest
Welcome to the list, > Can somebody give me a basic recipe for SCD Jello (gelatine and > juice)?? Basic instructions are usually on the box. 1. In a medium- large sized bowl sprinkle one pouch of gelatin (mine comes in 7g pouches) over 1/4 cup (50 mL) water (liquid). Set aside for 1-2 minutes to allow gelatin to soften. 2. Add 1/4 cup (50 mL) of boiling water to gelatin mix stirring constantly until completely dissolved approximately 1-2 minutes. 3. For the intro: Stir in an additional 1/2 cup of cold water and 1 cup of legal Grape juice or legal apple cider. 4. Refrigerate until set usually 2-4 hours. Guest guest
If you want to make a big batch that will last the week do it this way: Boil 1 1/2 cups of juice and 1 1/2 cups filtered water. Put 1/2 cup juice and 1/2 cup water in bowl and sprinkle 4 packages of Knox Gelatin on top. When the water/juice boils pour on top and stir 5 minutes. If you are using a tart liquid like I do (Just Pomegranate) Add a little liquid saccharin. Stir for 5 minutes. Pour in a large glass dish and refrigerate. When set cut in tiny squares and store in fridge in Tupperware. Kathy, mom to Hannah and Abby , SCD Feb.04 > > > > Can somebody give me a basic recipe for SCD Jello (gelatine and > juice)??
