Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering why pecan flour would be better for ASD kids than almond flour? What about walnut, hazelnut flours, etc.? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the different types? Thanks! -- SCD 11/29/04, breastfeeding Owen, 11 months, eczema/allergies
Guest guest
, I just grind nuts in my food processor, but at the beginning of the diet, I would recommend using nut butters first. They seem to be better tolerated. You can get blanced almonds and turn them into nut butter yourself. As for the skins on pecans, they can't be gotten off. You could try macadamia butter, peanut butter or cashew butter. Jody mom to -5 and -8 SCD 22 months
