Guest guest
Very good, Tilley. Wearing clothing which fits comfortably is good self-care, which is what IE is all about. We respect what our bodies are telling us, whether it's about food or clothes or activity or health care or whatever. Jane > > > > > > Hi Helen > > > > > > Welcome to the forum. I'm new here too and fresh from dieting. Isn't it just a joy leaving that behind? I'm finding my new way of eating so enjoyable and am loving eating previously forbidden foods- finding which ones I actually like. I'm also enjoying baking again as I stopped before. > > > > > > Anyway welcome > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I love baking, too. I think it's so sad that so many of us have resorted to giving up cherished activities because we somehow felt that savoring food was wrong. I also gave up watching the Food Network because I didn't want to be "tempted." I thought, "if I just stop thinking about, looking at, discussing, or having anything to do with food, I can get my eating back in control." Predictably, just the opposite happened.... Mimi Subject: Re: New on the forumTo: IntuitiveEating_Support Date: Monday, September 5, 2011, 9:55 AM I love baking too, and had almost completely stopped doing it for many many years, and I've been enjoying baking again as well. It's a great feeling.Tilley
