Mark, in my opinion, I do not believe you can draw the conclusion that you do

not have

mycoplasma infection, just because

you do not recall fever or weight

loss.

1-you may have had a mild fever

and weight loss and not noticed

it.

2-there are different kinds of

mycoplasma and variations in symptoms.

3-the article was written by a

pediatrition so his experience

is primarily with childern.

A good option would be to get

tested. IMD has a good reputation.

Their # is 888-882-8838

They will require that no antibiotics, olive leaf extract,

etc. be taken for one month prior

to the test. They also can test for CMV, HHV-6, Chlamydia. Hypercoagulability

can reduce the

validity of the test.

REGARDS,

Ray,

I noticed this line in the article you quoted:

" These children also had constitutional symptoms of acute mycoplasma

infection, such as fever and weight loss. "

I wonder if based on that statement, I can jump to the conclusion that I do

not have mycoplasma infection, based on the fact that my RA has not been

associated with fever or weight loss?

No doubt, an erroneous conclusion on my part. :) (But does make me curious)
