Wade,

Excessively low blood pressure?

Side effect of a statin if you are taking one of those (in which case

you need to ask your doc about that pronto.)

Can you reduce the dosage of any of your meds since the ablation,

with your doc's okay, of course.

Hello: If I were you I would get (blood test) a CBC with

differential and platelet count, as well as the ferritin test.

When our hemoglobin/hematocrit and/or our ferritin is too high that

can cause gait problems....because the blood is not flowing easily

and may initiate clots.

The norm hgb/hmt for males at sea level in the US is l5/45 and it

should preferably be kept at slightly below, and the normal

ferritin level should be around 50.

That is, if you are not one of the 42 million Americans affected by

undiagnosed iron overload.

Everyone should really know their ferritin level because it

indicates whether you are storing iron in your major organs or not.

I had a ferritin of l83 before treatment by blood draws (phlebotomy)

which by most lab standards is normal....and had symptoms of

fatigue, depression, sleepiness, pain on the left side of the left

leg.

Knowing what your levels are(and seeking treatment if needed ) may

postpone or diminish incidence of some of the major diseases in the

US such as cirrhosis, diabetes, heart disease, sudden cardiac

arrest, etc.. I hope this helps. Isabelle
