Hi, Tricia, and welcome.

Weight gain is often a result of being hypothyroid. Do you know what

your TSH blood level is?

Have you had RAI (radioiodine) treatment? Can you tell us a bit more

about your situation?

There have been a number of threads recently about weight gain which

you may find useful. Unfortunately, there are no magic answers to

losing weight :-( .
