Guest guest Posted February 18, 2006 Report Share Posted February 18, 2006 Hi, all, This should be brief because I have a lot of checking to do on the internet all of a sudden; still, I need to vent just a bit. Tomorrow was to be when we signed the lease for 's house. I had a call from our case manager at @ 6:00 this evening (i.e., she didn't leave work on time) telling me, among other things, not to sign the lease. This has something to do with the other client or her mother, is not financial in nature (I asked), so I don't know what the heck is going on. I have a good friend here, an ex-president of MO's NOW, in fact, who works at a local crisis center in the area of abuse among other things. I'll be going over the county's convicted molester (sp?) list tonight thanks to her but really only know that confidentiality prohibits our case manager from telling us squat. So much for tomorrow's plan to introduce to her eventual new abode. I'm all for confidentiality, but I damn sure want to know what's wrong. This is my daughter! Off to do research.
