I am sure if you had the time to go back over others posts you would realize most people have had at least one blow out.(((((hugs))))))Going back to the Prozac though..Prozac does effect thyroid hormone levels..you can deal with this two ways..one is quitting the Prozac or having it switched to a different antidepressant.The other option is to adjust your thyroid medication, either by increasing the strength, changing type or brand of medication or changing your dosing schedule. Or all of the above.Hopefully we can all help work together to find something that works for you. The key is to understanding what effects what and why.Kats3boys

Now that I'm thinking straight and I'm having a pretty good day, I'm hearing and understanding what you ladies have been saying about Prozac. I just read the article re: antidepressants on the group's website. Very interesting! I am going to wean off Prozac as of today. I've done it plenty of times so I know how to do it. Yes....I don't need to call the doc! My psych is a nutcase anyways. Question: Someone mentioned Prozac has flouride. I don't use flouride in my toothpaste or water because I believe it's dangerous. Is this the groups thinking too? Is it not good for our thyroid? I'm curious if that's one of the reasons it was said to not use Prozac.

Tammy , We all understand and I am sure no one hates you especially not Topper she is a great lady and I know she understands where you are coming from we all do. I have found out this thing can give me horrid mood swing I was just about out the front door and up stairs to the apt above us to choke the crap out of the Noisy lady upstairs she thinks the government owes her something she has no regard to anyone else but herself. LOL she is suppose to not feel anything from the waist down but yet the lay walks up and down the steps when she feels like it I hear her walk all around up there but the think is she leaves her can at the bottom of the steps, maybe I am just stupid or brainless but I thought when you can walk out in public and there is something legitamately wrong with you it is not just in public it is in private also . Our State gave her a brand spanking new MINI van eqiuped with hand controls and a scooter thing

and now the Landlord has to put in a ramp for her but she still has to come inand walk up the step to get to her apt, I guess I am just confused.???? Anyway found a rabbit trail to run off on there sorry. So anyway We all need to vent Lord knows i have sat here and cried on Toppers shoulder more than once. so Tammy if you need a shoulder I have broad one. You can use mine. Fluoride is evil... in so many ways, not just how it affects thyroid.... Each of us is entitled to our own thoughts on the subject.. but I think the general feeling the last time that we discussed it here was that it was a good thing to avoid whenever possible...

Glad to hear that your day is getting a bit better and you're back to looking at the bigger picture.... viewing things from all the angles, relating them to you, how you feel, your lifestyle... allows you to make the best decision for YOU.....

You got me with that one.. she needs hand controls in her vehicle and a ramp to get to the building....but has to climb the stairs to her apartment... either the legs work or they don't...... something is hugely wrong there....

A former friend of mine had handicapped plates on his vehicle, needed to use the elevator to get to his third floor apartment, and the elevator was not working so much of the time that he had to use the stairs... he went up on his butt, one step at a time, three flights.... He needed the special consideration.... after a few years it was finally determined that the next first floor vacancy that became available would be his and he was moved to that ground level floor... no more having to deal with the broken elevator and stairs.....

It really sucks to see a friend have to get around that way.

She has a special place to park in front of the building to. Well anyway they came for dinner and he park in the handicapped space in front of our house cause it was snowing and sleeting whould you believe the tanasity of the woman up stairs knocked on my door and told him to move his ****** car that was her spot. So he had to go out in the snow and sleet on his butt and move the car so she wouldn't call the cops on him. I was always under the impression anyone who has a hadicapped license plate or a placard in the window could park in them. But she made Mark Move she is really nasty like that and then I hear her very well walking around up there like no ones business she moves furniture and everything I hear her but 0nce thru that front door he is disabled again till she comes back in. She just infuriates me

that she is fooling our state Govrn like that when there a people who truely need things. Sice that night she made him move I have seen her as a false person and I don't care for those kinda people. Well anyway they came for dinner and he park in the handicapped space in front of our house cause it was snowing and sleeting whould you believe the tanasity of the woman up stairs knocked on my door and told him to move his ****** car that was her spot. So he had to go out in the snow and sleet on his butt and move the car so she wouldn't call the cops on him. I was always under the impression anyone who has a hadicapped license plate or a placard in the window could park in them. But she made Mark Move she is really nasty like that and then I hear her very well walking around up there like no ones business she moves furniture and everything I hear her but 0nce thru that front door he is disabled again till she comes back in. She just infuriates me

that she is fooling our state Govrn like that when there a people who truely need things. Sice that night she made him move I have seen her as a false person and I don't care for those kinda people. I was thinking the same thing... and then when they do the telephone followup invite them come over to your place and then park that van in her spot to goad her into tromping down the stars to bang on your door!!! hehehehehehe
