I can soooooooo identify w/ the hurt about your son and his friend wanting to ''sit alone'' at the movies!! The first time 'shunned'' me in public I thought I would literally go into the fetal position even tho I knew it was coming. He was Mikie (mike-eeeeeee) until he was about ....oh I would say 9 or 10 and when he made the oooooh so dramatic proclamation that he no longer wanted to be called that again..it just broke my heart!!! They doooooooo grow up SO fast and all I can tell you is what you already know....even on the worst days KNOW that your time w/ them to raise is soooo limited and try to enjoy as much as you can..fight as little as possible and just treasure every minute ( I know those w/ really small kids are having a hard time swallowing that but honestly...one day you will weep for those chubby little hands tugging at your skirt and the endless taunts of mom..mom..mom..moooooooooooommmmmmmyyyyyyyy LOL!!!) that you can. Oooooh boy oh boy I have again managed to get on a rant here but I just wanted to say thanks for listening Jinx and hang tough w/ that man sneaking back. You and your son deserve peace!!! HUGS!!
