Guest guest
Thanks Chantelle--I'll read it over and also see if I can find some prices for pins. Maybe the foundation would like to be involved in this--the pins could be a way to raise money for research. Guest guest
Bonnie, So the board is considering a ribbon already? Can you tell us anything about it? If the board needs someone to " get moving " on this project, I will volunteer (and I might volunteer Crystal and Chantelle too--I think they are both pretty enthusiastic about it as well). My parent-2-parent friends have their autism ribbons and I want a CHARGE ribbon!!!! (mom to Evan 8.5 mos) Turk22082@... wrote: , I hope I didn't upset you (or anyone else). That certainly wasn't my intention. Actually I was just so incredibly happy with the passion everyone has here. I know they were just looking at the ribbon but the board has really come together and we have tons of plans going on. We just need to finalize them to get things going. I was just saying hold tight, here come great things! I'm sorry but I thought you knew that I am on the CHARGE Foundation Board. I am also the chair of the Adult Services Committee. And I am on this list almost every single day! -That's my OCD. Actually the truth is this list is my lifeline. There are others on the board who read the list often such as Marilyn, Susie, n and Meg. What I was saying is that there are things happening that the board is working on and with the spirit and energy of everyone involved here we could all do great things------ together! You see, the board has the dream and the passion of bringing it to those who matter the most that's the families and more importantly our children! Guest guest
If i understand correctly, the ribbons are compleatly seperate to the charge foundation. Putting a symbole like a heart would be fine cause its not in the charge logo. As long as there is no charge logo, the board shouldnt have a problem with the ribbons. Thats like saying my " I am holland " poem belongs to the charge foundation. People can use it to promote charge syndrome, thats fine, but it dosnt belong to the charge foundation. It belongs to me (I should have gotten it published first though, lol) I kinda see the ribbons (minus any logo) the same way.Theirfore I dont think its even nessisary to have the charge board that involved.
