Guest guest
's message about doctors going overseas to establish programs in other countries got me thinking... What do most people do with their old shoes? We've donated ours to our cast tech at Children's for kids in need. I know others on this list have mentioned doing the same thing. Perhaps we could start an organized effort to help people donate shoes to these types of programs... Is there any type of clubfoot foundation established that could help raise funds to help kids receive Ponseti treatment no matter what country they're in? After looking at the figures came up with, it's mindboggling to think that there are thousands upon thousands of children who are going without treatment just because of where they were born... I would be willing to coordinate this effort if it's not already being done...What do people think? Guest guest
I think that would be a great idea. We were keeping ours until the arrival of our second and final child. She was born in October without clubbed feet. I want to keep one pair for memories but the others I would love to see put to use.
