Guest guest
Elle Welcome back. I can understand what you are saying about taking it easy. I don't know about you but my back has been bothering me. Especially sitting for a long time. Thats a bummer about your furniture. I hope on Monday you will be able to work things out. I'm glad your family had a good time. That stinks that you all got sick. My dh was telling me yesterday that the stomach thing was going around work. I hope we don't get it. I hope you are getting plenty of rest and have your feet up. Pam
Guest guest
Elle, Wow, you had some time! I am glad that your company has gone, and you can rest now! It is always something, and being pg, everything always is happening and it is overwhelming. I hope you ankles have gone down, and that you get in touch with the company next week regarding your furniture. Sit down, put your feet up, and say the hell with it all! That sounds good to do, wish I could say that I could do it and it was easy! Just thinking of it makes me feel better! Kim 37w, 1d > Elle > > Welcome back. Guest guest
Hey Pam! Thanks! Yes, my back aches at times too. I think it started about 3 or 4 weeks ago. At first, we all thought the stomach thing was Montezuma's revenge, but a lot of people at DH's CO. have had it too, so I really think it is a bug going around. I hope you don't get it! It's awful enough, but especially worse when you really can't take anything. Yes, I'm taking it very easy this week. We go to Oklahoma City next weekend to see our families and we have our first shower. I'm really excited, but I'm dreading the heat! It has been anywhere from 105-110 there! With the heat index that equals 115! I think I'll just stay inside! Can you believe that in approx. 11 weeks our little ones will be here???????????? It's going by sooooooooo fast!!! elle > Elle > > Welcome back. I can understand what you are saying about taking it > easy. Guest guest
Elle, That sounds good to me, I should take my own advise and got and do that. I am like a crazy woman today, I feel the need to clean everything. Which is crazy, because I am ready to drop I am so tired, but I am still going. I just hope this baby does not decide for some reason to make an appearance today when I am so tired, that would be hard. Rest! Kim 37w, 1d > > > Elle > > > > > > Welcome back. Guest guest
Elle, I hope things get better soon sweetie - what a week is right. Keep us updated, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Love & hugs, Jo-Ann What a week! Hi Ladies! We had a great time with our family! But, it has sunk in that I just can't do what I used to be able to do. I spent Thursday night baking and cooking things for their stay here ~ too much time on my feet! They arrived Friday, which we took pretty easy. Saturday we drove to Taxco (the famous silver town about 2 1/2 hours away). Again, way too much time on my feet and it was very hot as well. By 4pm, my feet and ankles looked like tree trunks! Sunday, my DH woke up with the stomach bug, so the rest of us went on to the Folkloric Ballet, which was fabulous, but I was in a theatre seat for 3 hours, which I found was way too long! Monday, my SIL got the stomach bug after lunch and then I followed that evening. UGH! My BIL is the only one who escaped it. By yesterday morning, I was doubled over and in pain. I called my DR. who told me what I could take. It has helped, but I'm still getting over it. Our family left yesterday afternoon and I came home and slept. I was exhausted! Yesterday afternoon, I walked into the kitchen only to find that our water cooler was leaking and I had a kitchen floor covered in water! Then, the store where we ordered our baby furniture called and now the crib and changing table won't be here until the end of October or the beginning of November! I wanted to just scream!!! There is another that is very similar, but is more expensive ~ of course! And, the guy we have been working with is out today and tomorrow, so it will be Monday before anything gets done! On a good note, they delivered the glider and ottoman today. I love it! I'm so glad I got it because I'm sure I'll practically live in it! I also had my first individual Lamaze class this morning. I really enjoyed it. She handed my this rubber baby that she said is comprable to the weight and size of our baby right now. It was so cool and amazing at the same time! We're l;ooking forward to starting our couples classes on August 14th. That's it from this end. I've got a lot to catch up on. It's incredible how behind you get in just a few days! Hope all is well with everyone! And, ...CONGRATULAYIONS!!!!!!!!! Couldn't wait for that post, so I had to look ahead and see what happened! Can't wait to see Emma!Love,Elle
Guest guest
Hi Elle! I'm glad you are back!!! Urggg, the crib thing.....maybe that is a sign that your baby will want to sleep with you anyway, LOL!! That is frustrating, but remember " someday " that will make a good story to tell (right???). I hope everything starts working out a little smoother though, you could do without the stress! (and the swelling!) Take it easy this weekend! Guest guest
Hey Vicki! Thanks! You know, I guess I'm getting used to this because I'm just not in the mood to worry too much about it. Things always have a way of working themselves out...right??? DH and I were talking about it last night and we've decided to wait for the one we ordered since it's the one we really want. It was suppossed to be here between Sept. 26 and Oct. 10 and now they're telling us the end of Oct. or beginning of Nov. If we order another crib instead it will still take 10-12 weeks which puts it at Oct. 8-22, so in the scheme of things, what's another week or two? We're going to be using a bassinet in the beginning anyway, so........ I just really want to put the nursery all together........ elle > > > > Hi Ladies! > > We had a great time with our family!
